Fall 2024

We Can't Thank You Enough!

First and foremost, the ECSA Board of Directors conveys heartfelt appreciation for your generous contributions to last season's successful fundraising effort. Your support made the purchase of a new snow machine possible and provided necessary funds to cover 20% of the purchase price of replacement grooming equipment. The remaining 80% was funded by a Recreational Trails Program grant through SD Game, Fish and Parks.

We are so grateful to all those who helped meet the $18,000 goal. Now we can look forward to spending time on the trails this season instead of pursuing donations!

FAQ: What are the official dates for trail grooming?

The grooming contract between ECSA and the US Forest Service allows ECSA to groom trails only between December 15 and March 15. Unfortunately, ECSA is not allowed to groom trails outside of this timeframe, even if weather events outside this timeframe gift us with copious amounts of snow.
